We are finally back, but not back home yet 😅 After arriving in Taipei Alex and I will separate to do our quarantine in the hotel. We’ve all pretty much have been together every day for the past 18 months. And now we will have to separate for 15 days. 😢

30 years ago today, as a young banker, I moved to Hong Kong - one of my better decisions. Here I made my home, my fortune and my family, and hopefully gave something back to make HK a better place than it would have been - we each do what we can, and that's what makes a cosmopolitan city.
Sadly, I doubt that I would make the same decision if I were 25 today. HK may have better days ahead, but for now, increasing government economic intervention, a rollback of political rights and the red iron fist of authoritarianism are sucking the dynamism out of the city and making it a far less welcoming place, not just for international immigrants to HK, but for our brightest local minds planning their future and deciding whether it lies in HK.
The HK and mainland Governments are inching towards opening the "boundary" with the mainland and Macao, at which point HK will become part of a one-Country "China bubble", isolated from the rest of the World until mainland authorities are ready to open up. We would guess 1-Oct-2021 (National Day) for the China Bubble to open, and 1-Jul-2022 for international visitors to China (including HK & Macao). We expect that the Beijing Winter Olympics, scheduled to start on 4-Feb-2022, will either be postponed or for teams-only, arriving into a strictly-quarantined bubble.

6th Photo - I took a flight and 🛫 to Ironwood, Michigan to take part in my first-ever Redbull 400 race. It was a really tough race and I was so grateful that I gave my best for it, won my heat and qualified into the Final and came back 4th placing overall even after I missed the podium. The bonus was that I got to spend time with new friends that I met there and I would like to thank them for the 2 Days 1 Night stay with them.
7th Photo - From Ironwood, I 🛫 back to Chicago for half day time to pack up my stuff that I left at Tim's place for the Redbull 400m and 🛫 to New York this time for the Empire State Building Run Up. I got 2nd place for it and super happy to finally visit New York for the first time in my life.
8th Photo - I then 🛫 to Los Angeles for a 12 hours transit, arriving early in the morning, walk around LA and I had a really really long walk from the Airport to the Muscle Beach.
9th Photo - At first, I was planning to go back after ESBRU, but while I was in Taipei, my friend from China told me about the races in WuHan and NanChang, and I decided to take part on both races. I 🛫 to NanChang from LA and transit at Shanghai. Dropped my luggage at the hotel provided by the Organizer of the NanChang Races and took a 🚆 to WuHan and stay a night there at an Airbnb place. I won the race in WuHan and took a 🚆 back to NanChang....
10th Photo - I got second place this time at NanChang International Towerrunning GrandPrix and took the 🚆 back to WuHan and stay a night there before the next ✈️ home from WuHan to KL International Airport.
It was a lots of flights and trains on these 20 Days, traveling here and there on last minute planning. I was so satisfied after that and I remembered I told myself that I am not going to do something like this again as this 20 days was really challenging 😅
Looking back now, I missed traveling so much. Hectic schedule of racing back to back to back to back to back were a magnificent trip in my entire life.
I learned a lot from this tour competing here and there. I am so glad to have the supports on doing this to fly 🇲🇾 Flag whenever I compete. Thank you each and everyone of you.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama Celebrates Launch of All-New 2022 Santa Cruz
Montgomery, Ala. June 22, 2021 – Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) celebrated the launch of the all-new 2022 Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. The Santa Cruz joins the Sonata and Elantra sedans and Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs on the Montgomery assembly line. This addition marks the first time HMMA has produced five vehicles at once.
The highly-anticipated Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle shatters both SUV and truck segments, creating an entirely new vehicle category. The Santa Cruz features a secure, open bed area which includes a lockable tonneau cover and hidden bed storage for diverse gear-carrying flexibility.
“Santa Cruz, with its bold styling, breaks open an all new segment territory, both for Hyundai and the industry as a whole. Open-bed flexibility coupled with closed-cabin security meets the changing everyday needs of its adventure-oriented buyers, while powerful and efficient engines and superb maneuverability ensure it is a pleasure to drive in urban or off-road environments. Our customers will wonder just how they managed before owning one,” said Jose Munoz, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America.
HMMA recently completed a plant expansion project to support adding the Santa Cruz to HMMA’s product mix. The addition of the Santa Cruz will further enhance HMMA’s ability to adjust its vehicle production with market demand and stay competitive in the ever-changing automotive market.
“We are excited and honored to be producing Hyundai’s first open bed vehicle for the North American market,” said HMMA President and CEO, Ernie Kim. “The launch of the Santa Cruz is a further testament to the trust Hyundai Motor company puts in HMMA and our Alabama home. I am so proud of our Team Members for accomplishing this achievement while the world is going through such difficult times. We can’t wait for our customers to experience the innovative design and world class quality the Santa Cruz will bring to the table.”
The addition of the Santa Cruz will continue to sustain high-quality jobs at HMMA and throughout its supplier base.
The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz will begin arriving in U.S. dealerships later this summer.

到達墨西哥後的第一件事，居然不是去陽光海灘度假區？一個不做家事的港女竟然大老遠跑去掃狗 ?？還記得第一天工作後，少做運動的我馬上感到腰酸背痛，痛到攤軟在床上，久久不願下床！每次只要閉上眼睛，腦海裡就會出現各式各樣的 ? (軟的、硬的、水的 ?)，辛苦到每天嚷著要回家 ?
但是，每天早上推開籠子，一群群超熱情的小可愛衝向你，圍著你討摸，其實是一件挺幸福的事 ? 下午不需要工作時，去找各種農場動物互動，也是一件很療癒的事呢！有時間就搭共乘去旁邊小村採購食材，或者跟著當地朋友去周邊探索！那時候感覺活得特別實在和充實，而且每天都沒有煩惱！原來生活可以這麼簡單快樂！
每每在旅途中，美麗的風景會讓我感到驚豔！但是，讓我難以忘記的總是和朋友的相處！而這次和動物朋友們近距離的接觸，他們帶給我的天真快樂，那份感動是我永遠都不會忘記的 ?

The first thing after arriving in Mexico, not going to have a relaxing Resort? A Hong Kong girl who doesn't do housework go to sweep the dog ?? I still remember that after working on the first day, I immediately felt sore back pain, so painful that I was lying on the bed, and I didn't want to get out of it for a long time! Every time I closed my eyes, all kinds of ? (soft, hard, watery ?) will appear in my mind, always yelling wanna back home ?
However, every morning when I open the cage, a group of super-enthusiastic cuties rush towards you, and they are super excited to see you. I think that's happiness. When I don’t need to work in the afternoon, I will interact with various farm animals. What a healing thing! When I have time, take a ride to the next village to purchase fruits and veggies, or follow local friends to explore around! At that time, I felt very realistic and fulfilling, and there was no annoyance every day! It turns out life can be so simple and happy!
Whenever on the road, the beautiful scenery will make me feel amazing! However, the most memorable thing for me is the time spending with friends! And this close contact with animal friends, I will never forget the touched from their innocent happiness ?
